After Team EMERALD e.V. made a move by signing a DotA 2 team consisting of several Starcraft 2 and DotA players, we are happy to present you our first League of Legends division. Everybody remembers the first big exposition of League of Legends and RIOT at the beginning of last year. It already had loads of viewers and quite a large prize pot. Since than we've seen it explode all over the world, becoming one of the worlds most popular game.

That big tournament with teams from North-America, Europa and even Asia - all tough they only had a BETA server to work with -was Dreamhack Summer in Sweden. Out there in the north, LoL Personalities were created, fanbases were build and even though IEM had already picked League up before the season 1 championship finals, that was the moment when everyone learned a lot more about league, a game that might not be that hard to play but a damn well thought out one. It brought in loads of casuals gamers and created a big competitive scene which probably won't see it's end in quite a while. The Esports side of things has become one of the biggest to date, thanks to the wonderful support of RIOT, they've eclipsed the game that was dubbed as Esports, Starcraft 2.

Team EMERALD e.V. would like to break into the MOBA scene, our organisation will support a new genre, where we hope we can be a successful name. We are pleased to announce our first DotA 2 team. They are veteran players from the past. The Hungarian squad will wear the green-black shirt with pride and represent Team EMERALD e.V. in 2012.

The team will challenge the Hungarian and the worlds best MOBA franchises this year - dubstep, vlsh, sz!Lva, ZS3NI, sptw_ and dark_pie will form the first EMERALD.DotA 2 division. The guys are well known from DotA and StarCraft 2. The team will compete at the TBA online tournaments.
